Battle at the Cave of the 6 Demon Blades

My 6 Demon Blades Mini Campaign kicked off tonight. I was missing 2 players but I decided to go along with it. Missing was the ninja and the killer samurai. I which left me with my dandy samurai, his retainer and the monk.

The leader of the retinue was able to negotiate the mountian pass to the cave. They climbed to the cliff face where they were able to enter the cave and view the insides. They explored the cave and found the important containers of the 6 demon blades.

The monk was able to cast vision and see the events that had occured. The sacrifice of 2 women that were there to "Do laundry" for the samurai that were present. There hearts riped from there chest and the blood used in some kind of ritual to free the 6 Demon Blades.

The group settled down and camped. The cook (ninja) prepared a meal for the party and they eat and had tea. They set 2 watches for the night and the went to sleep.

In the night the retainer was apporched by a female samurai in armour. He decided to question and challenge her. She refused to back down. Demanding they give their camp to her. He refused and woke the party.

The party now awake and alert. The dandy begins to talk to her. The party notices that 5 samurai are following her. Torches are held high in the night. The dark clouded figures come with the symbol of the 6 demon blades worn like a mon on their chests.

The retainer decided to attack the Air (the woman doing the talking). His quick move wasn't quick enough. Air moved with the speed of air. The blow barely hit her amour and caused no damage. She laughed at his failure.

After the first move was made Smoke attached the monk with a tetsubo of smoke. The monk began casting his spell. The tetsubo hit him in the face and he wore it like a bad suit. losing teeth and breaking a nose.

Metal began a charge at the dandy. The clinking of metal heard has he ran. His attack swing was casual. The dandy believed he could jump over the blade but got caught with the blade leaving his chest wet and slashed. His return blow landed with a metal thud.

First combat fought and first blood drawn.
